University of Essex

The University of Essex is one of the UK’s oldest universities, founded in the 1960s. Its academics have produced work that has inspired generations of students and helped to establish Essex’s reputation for research in the UK, particularly in the social sciences. Currently, they are ranked Top 30 in the UK in the Guardian University Guide 2024.

What makes Essex University special is that it has a separate Essex Business School. They offer five broad subject groups: Accounting, Business and Management, Marketing, Finance and Banking, and Entrepreneurship.

Many of their courses are professionally accredited, giving students a head start in their careers. In fact, 89% of University of Essex graduates move on to employment or further study after graduating.
